From Midwood, I pursued an academic career graduating from Brooklyn College, Florida State University, Duquesne University, and the University of Pittsburgh obtaining a B.A., M.A., M.Ed., and finally Ph.D. I spent my career teaching and serving as chairman of a department. My academic fields covered modern languages, literature, and linguistics. During my lifetime, my spouse Barbara and I have traveled to numerous countries in Central and South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, Canada, Asia, and numerous islands throughout the world. I am 86 and have vivid memories of my school years in Brooklyn.
